A new unlock has been discovered that works for all iPhones and all firmware versions.

The method discovered by Loktar_Sun appears to exploit a logical bug in Apple's server and can be performed on any jailbroken iOS device. His procedure involves using Sam Bingner's SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package to perform a series of steps that unlocks your phone to use a specific SIM.

Unlock Method for the iPhone 4S Discovered

Loktar_Sun has discovered a new method for unlocking the iPhone, according to a report posted by Laforet.

The method uses Sam Bingner's SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package that can be installed on jailbroken phones.

It has been confirmed working by iPhone Dev-Team member MuscleNerd who notes an update may be coming to SAM from @sbingner to make the procedure simpler.

Loktar_Sun's method will work to unlock your iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, or iPhone 3G. We've posted detailed step by step instructions on how to unlock your device here.

A Chinese hacker named Loktar_Sun has manipulating SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package and came up with a method to unlock iPhone.

How to Unlock your Jailbroken iPhone using Sam Step by step

First you will need to add the following source to Cydia to download the SAM package from Manage > Sourses > Edit > Add, and add the repo.

Step#1 Install Sam Bingner�s SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package. I recommend that you get it from repo.bingner.com since older versions have a different interface and may not work for this purpose.

Step#2 Enter SAM by either going through the settings menu or find the SAMPrefs icon on your springboard. You will need to have the SIM card you intend to use in your phone.

Step#3 Go to utilities and select �De-Activate iPhone�, your ActivationState under �More Information� should now be �Unactivated�

Step#4 With SAM enabled, choose �By Country and Carrier� in �Method�; find your carrier, for some carriers operating more than one Carrier ID you may need to select �SIM ID�; easy to tell since iTunes will not activate if the wrong IMSI is selected.

Step#5 Go to More Information�, copy or write down the IMSI in �SAM Details�, then tap �Spoof Real SIM to SAM�.

Choose �Extras� , few more options will appear, click the �Even more� button down below.

From Extras �> Even more , Choose �Backup� appear down below last at the end of the list.
A new window will pop up which will show you where a .zip folder is located. That .zip folder contains your unlock ticket, it is saved by default in the download directory.
Now , copy that .zip file and save some where safe on your computer, and remember where you placed it.
